It’s time for another of our regular updates from the Craft Guild Hub!
So let’s head over to Camperdown for Maree to give us the lowdown!
“The Australia Post elves are still working overtime to deliver some truly wonderful craft. This week's haul came from up and down the east coast of Australia
The supply of large nests is still steady and this allows us to supply all those who ask for these nests.
Other donations of pods, palaces, nests, pouches and hanging bags in all sizes came from :-
🟡Sue McGarrity from NSW
🟡Merrie Petter from ACT
and
🟡Our own Maree from the Camperdown Hub!
The group shot of all of this magnificent craft needed to be taken from two angles to do it justice!
For the nest makers, we would like you to give your hands a “little” break and send some smaller versions 12-15cm along with the larger nests.
Get the patterns here!
https://craftguild.org.au/.../05/…
For the sewers, the larger bags (of all types) don’t last long in the Hub before being sent out, so continued supply of these is certainly most welcomed.

In this series, we feature photos of the the wonderful craft donations received daily at the main Craft Hub in Camperdown NSW, and document the boxes of outgoing essential supplies being sent to animal carers, rescuers and shelters all over Australia, every day.
Maybe you’re not a crafter but would like to support our work? Donations assist with postage costs to send craft to carers all around Australia and also to assist carers and rescuers to purchase essential items for the animals.

I hope that you see your very own beautiful craft that has arrived at the Hub ready to be sent out to where it’s needed. Please make a comment if you do!

7.692 million square km.

How do ARC get stuff from A to B? On the backs of our mighty Truckies of course!
Truckies spend days and sometimes weeks away from their families and their homes driving many miles throughout our cities and countryside doing their job. They are hardworking, and are also renowned for giving their time to help good causes. They do this selflessly, not wanting any reward or recognition.
It took just one phone call to Murrells from Rebecca at our ARC Hub at OrphanLambRescueFarm and they immediately offered to take three pallets of medical supplies and much needed healing and lifesaving craft items from Canberra ACT to Sydney NSW and then the return journey with another pallet - all for FREE!
Moving these pallets saved ARC tonnes of money that can then be channeled into providing more help where it is needed most, and allowed our more remote rescuers and carers to receive donated items and much needed food and medical items.
Animal food, medical supplies, bandages, milk formula, craft: sewn pouches/bags, knitted/crocheted nests/pods/animal coats and much more travels from our Hubs to rescuers , carers and sanctuaries across the country every day carried by our mighty truckies.
So the next time you need to get stuff from A to B, why not give Murrells Freight Lines a call?

How hard these busy fingers work ...thankyou to one and ALL...who volunteer their time to so this for our precious animals.....they always seem to snuggle so nicely into these pieces.
The huge ARC Hub at Glencoe SA, well before the fires came, Rebecca and her team were working with ARF (Now ARC) and the MKC to support others. This has grown massively. One of the largest of the hubs, this photo says it all. The team have been instrumental in the support of Wildlife, Sanctuary and companion animals. We proudly display the support for all three and our partnerships with PetBarn, Greencross, MKC and WIRES.
The best way to be effective is to go out and do something effective. The team there has shipped hundreds of packages, ran many outreaches, supported hundreds of rescuers. Not by writing Facebook posts by by physically doing the work.
Thank you Rebecca and the SA team!

Is pleased to present:
A DAY IN
THE LIFE OF BRIAN - A WORKING KELPIE!
A ripping Aussie yarn that tells of:
-A large, dangerous and fast moving fire - and the indescribable destruction it caused
-Good neighbours - who become good friends
-And....what it feels like to have a 3000 litre water bomb dropped on top of you!
LUCINDALE SOUTH AUSTRALIA -11TH JANUARY 2021
Sometime in the afternoon.....
An unusual smell wafted in on the gusty easterly wind and awoke Brian from his afternoon nap. He raised his head and sniffed the air...Something Wasn’t Right.
The Boss was away attending to some business in another state, and the next door neighbour -who Brian referred to in his head as ‘Mate’ (because that’s what the Boss called him whenever they met in Town)- would be over soon with some food and fresh water for him.
Meanwhile Brian, remembering that he had been left In Charge of The Farm, thought he’d better investigate what had caused him to wake so suddenly. Before he could jump down from the verandah, he heard the sound of a Ute roaring up the driveway. ‘Mate’s’ Ute.
“Brian! Quick jump up!” Yelled Mate and hit the tray of the Ute with his hand.
I jumped up.
Next thing we were bumping and swerving through pastures that I knew like the back of my paw - but today they were different.
The wind was strong enough to blow a dog off his chain. Red hot flames roared around the Ute, and the thick smoke that billowed from every direction covering the fields made me choke.
Mate was mustering the cattle with his Ute, helping them to escape the fire. He was jumping in and out of the cab, cutting holes in the fences that were big enough for the cattle and the Ute to get through to escape the flames.
I wanted to get out and help, but Mate yelled through the deafening roar of the flames “Stay Brian!” So I stayed.
Suddenly, I couldn’t see the cattle, I couldn’t see the trees, I couldn’t see the fences. Smoke filled my eyes and my nose. All around was hot - hotter than The Strzelecki Track in Summer - hotter than the BBQ plate that time I burned my tongue when I tried to help cook the sausages...
An engine roared overhead. I recognised the shape. I had seen these ‘flying utes’ - as I called them- before. The Boss had called them Crop Dusters.
Suddenly, a rumbling sound. Then wet, cold water falling from the air - more water than in any bath I’d ever had in my life! My head felt like when that big black Angus calf, Bonnie, sat on me. The last thing I remember thinking before hitting the tray of the Ute was... I hope Mate brought some of that nice smelly shampoo with him – you learn to never waste a wash in the country!
Then there was darkness. Darker than the sky over the farm when I can smell a storm on the wind.
~Epilogue~
Like any Working Dog worth its salt, I survived.
Mate brought me back home the next day and told Ben, Samantha, Dylan and Jack what had happened. The extra pats I got made it all worth it. I was a bit dazed for a few days after escaping the fire, and having a three thousand litre tub of water dropped on me, but at least now the word ‘Bath’ won’t send me running for safety under the verandah! I’ve dealt with worse!
Thanks Mate – you're a life saver!
(Oh, and Ben said I wasn’t to forget to thank ARC and Petbarnfoundation for giving me lots of big bags of #RoyalCanin and other yummy food for my dinner!)
The End
By Brian The Kelpie.
Brian’s story is not a tall tale from the imagination of a very intelligent working Kelpie- it’s sadly very true.
And the truth is far more serious and distressing than Brian could have ever imagined.
ARC met Brian and ‘The Boss’ also known as Ben, when Rebecca, the ARC Hub coordinator at our rural South Australian hub which is located at #orphanlambrescuefarm, recently had a massive companion animal food distribution day to help farmers affected by the fires. The much appreciated dog food was provided by our generous sponsors at #Petbarn, #PetbarnFoundation #PetbarnFounationTreeofHope.
The farm where Ben, Samantha, Dylan, Jack and Brian live was destroyed by a huge grass fire which ripped through part of South Australia's south-east. The blaze started at the Mount Scott Conservation Park east of Kingston SE before being pushed by strong north-westerly winds towards Lucindale and Naracoorte. It quickly reached the town of Lucindale and burned at least 16,000 hectares.
The farm has been home to Ben and his family for 25 years. They lost all of their pastures, 90% of the fencing, three sheds, machinery, all of the hay and fodder, and 240 cows.
A fire-fighter has described Monday's Blackford fire, which roared down on Lucindale, as the fastest-moving blaze he has ever seen. At the height of the fire, almost 200 CFS volunteers and farmers with private firefighting units were battling the blaze in temperatures of almost 40C and winds of up to 70km/h. Their efforts were supported by six waterbombers which made more than 100 drops as pilots battled to stop the fire from engulfing Lucindale.
It was one of those drops that landed right on Brian and Mate, and saved them from being engulfed by the fiery inferno.
Ben, Samantha, Dylan and Jack are very proud of Brian. And forever grateful to their courageous and caring neighbour who they only knew on a casual basis before the fires. They have now formed a strong bond and a friendship with him that will stay with them into the future.
ARC are very happy to have been able to help Brian and his family in a small way in the wake of the fire.
We wish all of the farmers and residents of the area all the best with the fire recovery.

November last year we were called at 8 am in the morning to help with a huge rescue of 37 poodles from a backyard breeder who had a fall and the dogs needed help straight away,we were in the car by 8:30 to make the 3 hour trip with 2 other rescues. This was by far the biggest rescue we have ever done,we arrived to find almost 40 scared dogs running from the people who were trying to help them,as we were handed the dogs 2 at a time over a fence we loaded these guys into the 3 cars we had there it,was crazy. We didn’t get a chance to check anyone over they were all placed into cages so we could start the long drive home. That day we ended up with 16 dogs.Once we got them home we let everyone out of their cages put down fresh water and gave them some dry food they all just looked at it we found out the next day they had never had dry food we’re only ever fed mince and that was it.The next day we wormed fled and bathed everyone and gave them all names as they were only known by chips number by the owner,it was heartbreaking watching these guys they were so scared but at the same time just wanted love.Within 3 days we welcomed 7 more from the same house from the other rescues,2 of them were a mumma with her 2 pups and their Aunty as we called her she helped mumma look after her babies. It took a few days for these guys to settle they didn’t know what grass was the boys had stains from pee as they always had on belly bands,I slept in my sons room every night for 4 weeks with all the poodles so they felt safe, they all started to show their personalities and trusted me more and more everyday.Unfortunately 8 had to be returned to the owner but the rest were to stay with us,we then started the long costly road of vetwork, most needed dentals done even the 7 month old pup. After vetwork was done 2 at a time we started the search for these guys forever homes and I’m very proud to say all apart from 4 have found their forever home.3 have been made full times residents of the rescue for different medical rescues and 1 needs a home with no men or cats but we haven’t given up we will find him a home.So I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone from the #ThankYouARC#PetbarnFoundation

Gippsland Forward Base - with activities across the country pivoting to the SA and WA Fires, Gippsland has been doing massive Wildlife and Companion outreach. Joey and the team run this, our largest hub/base environment and a huge 200+ Sqm of space that is often absolutely chocka's with support and supplies. This is animal food, medical, craft. Emergency Animal supplies right where they are needed. Animals are at less risk of dying because of sponsors investments in these large operations.
Joey heads up all our Vic operations and this forward base is perfectly placed at Sale in the major trucking routes. It is close enough to the East Gippsland and Gippsland firezones as well as being a good midpoint for the Packenham, Echuca, Redbox and SA hubs.
To sponsor visit
We fit a lot in here, fire trailers, trucks, 30+ palllets and we can mobilise large numbers of people, sleep them overnight if needed and supply coordinate all over the area.
As you can see, this base is run well. Clean, clear, well managed and absolutely what a sponsor would expect to see done with their donation. No waste, no mess. This is what we do with your help to support animals and rescuers/outreach everywhere.

ARC has 2 hubs next to the fire areas in Perth and has been directly involved since day one at ground zero. You can donate to this program of work here.
We were already prepared, the ARC teams had shipped supplies to all national hubs long before the fires.
ARC's state team headed up by Michelle Jones has been engaging directly with local rescuers, outreach groups and government bodies to get supplies on the ground. With our third large shipment on the way and all our humidicribs on loan we are working hard in the field.
If you can donate to help Michelle and the team this is a huge support for Animals in need. You can also visit the team here and volunteer directly
Thank you for all your support and the support of #WIRES and #PetbarnFoundation who along with thousands of donors have supported this directly. Animals need us, so do people, lets get this done.

Thank you all for sending in your beautiful craft items! They look great! 😀👍💖
We would like to say a grateful thank you to Petbarn and the #petbarnfoundation for their support with the #Treeofhope appeal.A substantial/huge/large donation was made to our organisation by Petbarn as part of the Tree of Hope program this month. This has gone directly into the creation of Australias FIRST ever Humidicrib Loan Library.
Humidicribs have now been procured and many have been sent to our regional hubs and locations nationally. We had pre-ordered and units are already seeing action in Gippo, Melb and Perth.
Petbarn and the #Petbarnfoundation has followed our journey and been part of our work for some time. All of last year they reached out and helped rescuers and we were one of many supported. They recognise too that this is people, volunteers and vets all working to help animals. Without all of us this doesnt work.
Thank you Petbarn for supporting our work and the Tree of Hope program in achieving outcomes for rescuers everywhere.

🔥EMERGENCY - LARGE BUSHFIRE IN WA🔥And then one state became two as a massive bushfire rages to the east of Perth. We know that 56 homes have been lost already and a vast amount of bush.
This area is known to be home to a significant amount of wildlife and we are dreading what the next week will bring.
You can donate to this program directly here
We have an amazing WA Coordinator Michelle Jones who is already making plans and has been in touch with a number of wildlife rescues and at least one dog rescue that has been evacuated.
On top of her own supplies, we are sending additional stock tomorrow to ensure that there is continuity of supply and carers never run out. We will be sending additional ARC library humidicribs for carers to use.
Thank you for your support and the support of WIRES who have helped back this program, we will keep you all updated over the next few days

My thoughts & prayers are with all the people impacted by these fires. We in Victoria understand only too well what you are going through.
I hope that the weather changes and rains as this would help put the fire out Bushfires are terrible anytime but worse if deliberately lit I hope that there is no loss of life
There's rain coming let's hope it's sooner rather than later God bless all those responders stay safe
A real government would invest in more fire fighting aircraft. This is going to be ongoing every year. Enough years have already passed without appropriate action.
So sad! Thinking of everyone, the wildlife and all animals. I hope the terrible fires are out soon.
Heavenly Father, we pray for all the people in this huge area of Bushfires. Please take control and let your will be done.
Heartbreaking for all involved,stay safe.😢😢
There will be rain about in the Perth and eastern districts on Saturday and Sunday.i hope there is enough to put it out
Terrible fires so very sad for all the people our thoughts are with you
Most of the animals are gone.and the national park.we can thank the dickhead greenies for not allowing backburning
That's so sad please keep safe everyone and thank you to the firies and emergency services ❤️❤️
Now it's been reported that youths are hanging around the houses that have been Evacuated and sussing them out .
Why can’t our military not help with this? We do not have a large engagement overseas.
Thinking of friends with animals in those areas, and the wildlife.
How did it start ? I know heat and strong winds are present but something got this going ?,
Terrible calamity- sending wishes to WA folk to stay safe.
And where is our fearless leader oh I forgot hes to busy pretending to run our country
Oh no, hope they can put this out soon, and that the animals and humans stay safe.
Terrible,last I heard they've lost 81 houses,poor people & all the animals XXXXX
Same as what happened a long the Victorian and nsw coast line
The greenies have a lot to answer for.
There's been nothing on the news about the animals 😒
😢💟🙏
Our Governments NEVER LEARN!!!! After the NSW , QLD Fires they SHOULD HAVE !! They Need to be HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!
81 homes now lost 🥺
"WARNING - COMPELLING - HORRIFYING"It took days for Kangaroo Jack to talk to anyone, weeks even. “You can save them from trucks, you can bring them in, but when they are killed in their own home what do you do...”
We are going all out to help Kangaroo Jack and Warrego Wildlife. They killed his entire rehab ward. The babies, the mothers. Everything.
"Anything that attacks my children ...which they are while they are in my care... has attacked me...”
These were the emotional words of wildlife carer Heather, who, with her partner Daemon, had just witnessed the distressing aftermath of the bloody and cruel mass slaughter of a mob of joeys that they had raised from being orphaned in their pouches, to having grown to being almost ready for release.
Kangaroo Jack is one of the hardest working rescuers in an unforgiving environment.
After months of saving what they can from the harsh roads, nursing them back to health, the entire rehab ward was killed by dogs.
No one knows the terror the mob would have felt as the dogs ripped into the enclosure and did their worst. But it left serious scars and and damage to everyone involved.
The dogs had attacked and killed the defenceless and terrified joeys who had no means of escape. A kangaroo mob on the brink of release – wiped out. Just for the thrill of it.
Heather recorded the decimation of their precious joey mob in a poignant and moving video on that crisp morning in July 2020.
Her anguish is evident in the catch in her voice (scroll down on the link), the tightness of her throat, and her barely audible sniffing as she tries to hold back the tears which surely must have been flowing uncontrollably all morning.
The carnage that morning was nothing anyone should see and they will never forget.
So what are we going to do. We are going to build a wall. A fence actually.
ARC met Kangaroo Jack early this year though his work, He had just driven 200kms to rescue a roo that he was notified of. His only option at that time, and with those injuries was a peaceful death.
There was no fanfare, no heroic internet posts. Just one person helping someone at the end of their road.
So we got to know his story and the work of Warrego.
But this story is about those that he had saved - which were now lost...
Daemon got straight into researching fencing. So did ARC. "We know people that have done this before and built a solid environment to protect the animals and stop the dogs"
Weeks ticked by. It's very hard in remote QLD to get a quote much less a contractor. Plans were looked at, then a quote came in.
$18000. For about 200m of fence.
Admittedly, this is good fencing, serious support and concrete at the corners. But for a charity that raises it's money by self sufficiency at it's roadside coffee stall, that is impossible.
So we are going to get this done. We hope to raise the entire $18k from the public and sponsors. If we go over then those funds will go (With Kangaroo Jacks approval) to ARC's WA and SA fire work.

Absolutely appalling, you can’t really blame the dogs; but you can really blame the owners of the dogs for allowing their animals to roam knowing that they were killers; and no domestic dog should be a killer! The whole thing is appalling, and I share in their grief 💔
Horrifying this yet another reason for stricter laws regarding animals, politicians do something constructive now, you may even feel good.
So SO many animals need saving !?!? What is the world coming to...just terrible.
I hope whatever humans released the dogs on innocent babies rot in Hell I’ve heard kangaroos are treated badly in Oz so glad there are people like you to support them
So sorry for your loss. The hunter should face jail. I have 0 tollerance. I can't mention what i would do to him on Facebook. Those dogs sadly do need to be humanely put down as they have now a taste for blood. Again because of humans animals have to suffer. My hear goes out to the wonderful couple. I sincerely hope that it is dealt with legally as it must not go unpunished.
My heart goes out to you, have donated lets hope we get this fence up for you and your little babes to keep them safe. I know what I would be doing about those mongrel dogs, they won't stop now with that taste for blood🤨
Not many people care about animals ,that was here before us . All the land is built on , government, don’t seem to help . Who will help the poor animals.🦘🦘🦘🦘all over the world . Trees, are cut down , more 🏠 built . Who cares ? (. Start worrying now , because life can’t go on much longer.) More and more plastic . What is happening to the sea 🦭🐬🐟🐠🐳🐙? . I am 80 , and have seen the terrible thing going on .👎🏿😪🥱🙄😬😩
How anyone do this is beyond me. Put electric fences cameras around then you might be able to get these mongrels. How very sad, but thankyou for what your trying to do. God bless love lilly xx
There should be a culling of wild dogs they are killing the wildlife so sorry to you and your partner for what has happened you both are doing such a great job
I hope someone is offering to find those dogs and deal with them. They are a danger to children, pets, farm animals and other wildlife. So sorry for your great loss. 😞😞
Oh my God I’m just unable to get my head around this it is just so devastating. When I was a child my father shot a dog that was killing the baby lambs on our farm that’s what people did in those days. Turned out the dog belonged to a neighbour.
Absolutely heart breaking I hope you find who was behind This attack dogs cannot open doors or Cages to get in to kill Wild dogs will kill for food but only what. They can carry I am totally sickened and heartbroken over Your loss
Anyone who has raised orphaned native wildlife knows how much hard work, time and labour it takes. There are heartbrakes, you expect to lose some, but this is devastating. I cannot imagine your pain.
Like to help but I am too tied up in fighting to save the Brumbys. They are being trapped in Victoria NP in March and sent to slaughter. Then NSW are doing the same. Join the fight.
I’m so very sorry for your horrific loss. It must have broken your heart as it has mine just hearing about it. Are these wild dogs? Maybe they should be removed if at all possible. I’m so sorry. 😥😥😥😥
You all talk about putting up a fence to keep the kangaroos safe from traffic and wild dogs, but will you all be happy when they are behind fences and burn to death if and when a fire spreads through, leave everything alone as it is,there are more animals out in the bush getting hurt, getting sick and dying in pain than you ever see, ive raised orphaned joeys, ive dug out of their mothers pouches, when theyve been hit by vehicles so ive seen it first hand, but its still a way of life, one animal will always kill another for food, its a way of life.one animal is no more precious than another, you have rangers that go out killing donkeys ,horses, camelsand ,buffalo etc to have a think about them also,
Very heartbreaking- I'm wondering if anyone has asked if Australia Zoo could donate anything!? I bet they could help in some way!
Donated... thank you for all that you do. I’m truly so sorry for your horrific loss. I hope you raise enough to cover the complete cost of the fencing and have some left over to help feed others that come into you care 💕
Majella, experienced the horror of dogs breaking into her yard and killing all her Roos and joeys in Charleville. So heartbreaking.
What a horrific thing to happen. These people who leave dogs to run wild are irresponsible in the extreme.
Absolutely devastating. 😡😡😡Were these wild dogs?
So so tragic, I cried reading this as I'm a massive animal lover..love our Australian life & pray we don't wipe them all out😩these dogs that attacked & killed them all, the owners should be made accountable for😡😡just so tragic & horrific, my heart goes out to u and will donate❤️
So much evil, I don't understand, it seems a brutal way to do things, why were they not wanted?
Feel so sorry for Kangaroo Jack. He loved them all so much. So sorry my heart hurts for you.
What a heartbreaking story I can't imagine the trurma those poor terrified animals went through the owner of the dogs needs to be taught a very hard lesson. 💔💔💔💔💔

UPDATE - ARC NATIONAL BUSHFIRE PROGRAMWe had another big working bee this weekend at Majors Creek Wombat Refuge clearing more scrub, sorting building material, building an enclosure and clearing a path to the creek.
You can sponsor this work here
The costs of this program are high in materials. Bobcat hire and all the other stuff dont come free but with the volunteers there is a massive help with costs. Your donations make this possible.
Once again Team Haggis - 2 Scots, and Englishman and a Welshman plus the awesome Jesse - stepped up to the plate and spent the entire weekend at the sanctuary. A huge thank you also to the wonderful Melita and Philippa for joining us.
Majors Creek is an amazing Wombat Refuge in South NSW. They are volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate and release orphaned and/or injured wombats.
From hand-feeding pinkies through the night, to rescuing and providing rehabilitation for injured adult wombats, they provide around- the- clock care with the ultimate goal of releasing every wombat back to their natural environment.
They receive no government assistance (apart from modest insurance cover for NSW wildlife rescuers) and therefore rely on the kindness and generosity of the general public to fund ongoing care for wombats in need.
We hope that with our help, these sanctuaries will be better equipped next bushfire season.
This is your work, your team in the field helping rescuers get stuff done. Thank you all the guys from Team Haggis and to Alli and the crew who continue to work the fire program nationally.

“While the number of deliveries in the week after Christmas was a pleasant surprise, the Australia Post elves must have been working overtime this week as the number of parcels delivered was even more than last week.
The theme of the week was nests and more nests. The call out for nests has been taken up with gusto and we are slowly but surely building up supplies of the larger nests which are popular with carers with animals other than birds.
Craft again came from all over Australia and there was even some craft from Jacqui in Iowa USA.
Apart from nests we also received pouches (winter and summer weight), 3D hanging bags, possum palaces and pods, pet blankets, bat wraps, lamb and dog jumpers, hanging bags and porthole bags.

Sending a big thank you to Jennifer, V Gilbert, Danielle and Wendy for sending in lots of much needed nests of all sizes and beautiful knitted jumpers of all colours! Our carers are going to love them and their babies in care will be cosy and warm and feel comfy and safe! Great work! 😀👍💖 🧶
Huge day today at our Glencoe SA hub at Orphan lamb rescue farm Left home at 8:30am and got home at 6:30pm
We headed to Lucindale in the lower south east if SA to distribute dog food to farmers who were impacted by the recent fires there.
Their fires burnt over 18000 hectares and over 6000 head of stock didn't survive. 3 houses lost and lots of sheds, hay sheds, hay in paddocks just baled also lost.
ARC and Petbarn kindly donated 4 pallets of dog food. It came form our Sydney hub and our friends at Craig Arthur Transport bought the 4 pallets from Sydney to Adelaide free of charge
Then Damien Thornhall at Trans australian livestock and freight management picked the pallets up in Adelaide and took them to their transport depot in Lucindale, free of charge
Trans Australia kindly allowed us to use his depot to set up to have the farmers come along to collect some bags.
We had over 30 farmers come and all left with multiple bags of dog food, toys, wormers, flea wash and shampoo
Every single person that came was very grateful and was very happy when they thought they were getting 1 bag instead of the 6 or so bags they received. most we had to convince to take more than 1 bag as typical country people "someone needs it and deserves it more than them"
We were blown away to meet so many genuine wonderful people, it made the 2.5 hour return trip and the 6.5 hours there was os very much worth the time and effort, and we got to meet some beautiful dogs and heard some stories.
There is 1 miracle story of a dog named Brian which I will fill you all in on another post as he deserves his own special post for his story to be told.
So once again Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC) you rock, Petbarn Foundation you're awesome.
And we can't forgot today was also made possible to Craig Arthur Transport and Trans Australian, without them we wouldn't have been able to get the dog food here .
We also had a few of the people that came to collect dog food offer to go grab us a coffee or lunch from the local shop!!
Also a shout out for my 5 & 3 year olds who was with us all day, in the car and in the truck yard, obviously very boring for them but they were troopers.

🧶🧵📦AT THE HUB! 🏠📦🦘🐾It’s time for Update Number #3
from this week’s At the Hub from the ARC Craft Guild Hub!
Once again it’s over to Maree at the Craft Hub to give us the details with thanks to:
🟡Franca from Victoria
🟡Ethan from NSW
🟡Sharon from NSW
🟡Our very own Maree from the Hub in NSW!
📣‼️We are still needing to restock the Hub with:
L (Kanga), XL (Roo) and XXL (TRex) Hanging bags and 3D bags.
If anyone wants to try something more advanced and different, possum cubbies would be welcome.
All of the patterns, including the possum cubby, can be found here:
🥰🦘All the best from Avalon, Sarah, Lesley and Maree.”
In this series, we feature photos of the the wonderful craft donations received daily at the main Craft Hub in Camperdown NSW, and document the boxes of outgoing essential supplies being sent to animal carers, rescuers and shelters all over Australia, every day.
I hope that you see your very own beautiful craft that has arrived at the Hub ready to be sent out to where it’s needed 😊❤️
Thank you to all of our Craft Guild members who give their time and talent to make items to help the animals, and thank you to the Craft Hub team for organising and getting the craft sent out 😊
