The ARC Adelaide Hub is a busy, practical support centre for animal rescuers, shelters and wildlife sanctuaries. Its work includes rescue, sorting donations, distributing food and medical supplies, maintaining a reliable pool of resources and stepping up during bushfires and floods.
The hub supports companion animals such as cats and dogs, birds, rabbits and farm animals including horses, goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, donkeys, chickens and ducks. Wildlife support includes bats, kangaroos, wombats, koalas, possums, reptiles, frogs, fish and more.
Its people bring experience in fostering and rehoming, colony care, desexing coordination, emergency food relief, bat care, bird rehabilitation, possum rescue, koala and echidna care, joey hand-rearing, farm animal husbandry and sanctuary management.
The Adelaide team keeps showing up, moving supplies and backing local rescuers. It is a resilient, dependable hub doing the difficult practical work that makes sure animals and their carers are not left without support.
