Your local ARC hub
The ARC Mt Gambier Hub is a busy, community-driven support centre making sure animals across the Limestone Coast have access to food and care. Volunteers collect donations, sort supplies and distribute essentials to rescues, shelters and families doing it tough.
The hub’s strongest focus is on companion animals, especially cats and dogs, while its reach also includes farm animals and wildlife such as kangaroos, macropods, possums, bats, birds and reptiles.
The people linked to the hub bring practical experience in rescue, foster care, rehoming and rehabilitation, from neonatal kittens and colony cats to dog fostering, wildlife rescue, livestock support, specialist feeding, medical coordination and pouch and bottle rearing.
Based at the shed at Rebecca’s Lamb Rescue, the Glencoe hub is a small but dedicated place where people roll up their sleeves to help fellow rescuers with the supplies and resources they need.
