The ARC Sale Hub in East Gippsland is a major rescue and support centre focused on helping animals and the people who care for them. Its core work includes animal rescue, coordinating donations and distributing essential supplies, while responding to challenging day-to-day needs across the region.
The hub has a strong focus on companion animals, especially cats and dogs. It also supports wildlife including possums, kangaroos and other macropods, koalas, wombats, birds and reptiles, as well as rabbits, horses, pigs, chickens, ducks and other farm animals.
Across Sale, Morwell, Bairnsdale, Orbost, Paynesville, Loch Sport and other parts of Gippsland, the people connected to the hub bring hands-on experience in rescue, rehabilitation, feeding support, rehoming, community coordination, wildlife care, neonatal care, food distribution and emergency response.
The Sale Gippsland hub is a dependable centre for emergency support during floods, fires and other local crises, as well as a vital source of supplies for rescuers, community groups and families caring for animals.
