Your local ARC hub
The ARC Western Australian Hub in Perth is a hardworking support centre for animal rescuers and the animals in their care. It collects, stores and distributes food, medical supplies and other essentials to rescue organisations, wildlife sanctuaries and community responders.
The hub supports companion animals including cats, dogs, rabbits and horses, as well as native wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, possums, bats, birds, ducks, parrots and reptiles.
Its network includes people with experience in companion animal rescue, ranger and pound services, wildlife rehabilitation, neonatal and juvenile care, avian and reptile handling, macropod and possum care, equine support and emergency logistics.
Because of Western Australia’s distance from other hubs and exposure to floods, fires and cyclones, the Perth hub is an important lifeline for rescuers, communities and animals across the state.
