Wildlife partnership
WIRES and ARC
help wildlife.
WIRES and ARC have worked together to get practical, on-the-ground support to wildlife carers across Australia.
During and after the bushfires, this included hay, joey formula, bird seed, macropod pellets and fresh vegetables for native animals in care. ARC’s network of volunteers and transport also helped get handmade pouches, nests, bat wraps, towels, blankets and medical supplies to wildlife carers who needed them.
WIRES and ARC work together to connect wildlife carers with practical help when it is needed.
Wildlife care across Australia
The Craft Guild
helps wildlife carers.
The ARC Craft Guild works with WIRES carers and many other wildlife groups across Australia. Makers create practical items for animals in care, from pouches and nests to wraps and blankets.
The Guild connects the people making those items with wildlife carers who know what is needed. It is an integral part of ARC’s work, helping handmade care reach animals and the people looking after them.
