Your local ARC hub
ARC Tasmania is a volunteer-driven hub and one of ARC’s first hubs, established in 2019. For many years, it has provided vital, hands-on support to companion animal and wildlife rescuers across the whole of Tasmania.
Trish and her team work closely with local rescue groups, wildlife sanctuaries, shelters, foster carers and community organisations, bringing in supplies from mainland Australia and local suppliers, including food, craft items and medical supplies.
The hub is also a craft hub and has been deeply involved in making wildlife craft for many years. It plays a frontline role during bushfires, floods and other emergencies, making sure practical help reaches the people and animals who need it most.
