ARC coordinated 38 donation pickups and drop-offs this week from volunteers and donors nationwide, delivering vital supplies that keep rescues and animals going.
Donations included wet and dry food for dogs, cats and kittens, specialty diets, puppy milk, litter and pads, bird seed, dental chews, parasite treatments, wormers, heartworm prevention, desex vouchers, medical fluids and wildlife first‑aid items.
Distribution was managed by ARC Leichhardt Hub (NSW), ARC QLD Brisbane Hub, ARC SA Adelaide Hub and the national hub network across Australia and Tasmania, supporting community outreach programs and pantries; this work is supported by Petbarn Foundation and images of parcels and volunteers accompany the post. Recipients expressed deep gratitude and reported savings that can be used for vet bills and rescue needs; some organisations helped (partial list) include Wildlife Rescuers Inc, Wildlife Victoria, German Shepherd Rescue, Mission Australia, Love A Greyhound Inc, Wildcare, WIRES, Oasis Community Pantry and Guardian Angels Animal Rescue Inc.
